Who we are
NHS Greater Huddersfield Clinical Commissioning Group is a membership organisation of 37 GP practices. We are led by local GPs and it is our role to commission (plan and buy) the majority of hospital and community health services for our local population. 243,000 people live in our area (approximately 58% of the Kirklees Council area).
We work in partnership with a wide range of stakeholder and provider organisations including:
- other West Yorkshire clinical commissioning groups
- Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust
- South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust
- Kirklees Council
- Locala Community Partnerships
We have good and developing relationships with Healthwatch Kirklees and many local community and voluntary sector organisations.
We are committed to working with local people, patients and carers to make sure that their views are taken into account when making decisions about health services.
