Committees

Our Governing Body is supported in its work by a number of committees:

 

Audit Committee
The Audit Committee provides the Governing Body with an independent and objective view of the CCG’s financial systems, financial information and compliance with laws, regulations and directions governing the CCG in so far as they relate to finance, risk management systems and emergency planning arrangements.

Finance and Performance Committee

The Finance and Performance Committee supports the CCG in scrutinising and tracking delivery of key financial and service priorities, outcomes and targets as specified in the CCG’s strategic and operational plans.

Primary Care Commissioning Committee

The Primary Care Commissioning Committee has been established under delegated authority from NHS England. It has been established to carry out the functions relating to the commissioning of primary medical services under section 83 of the NHS Act 2006.

The Committee holds its meetings/s in public and the agenda and supporting papers for meetings are available in the week before each meeting and can be viewed below, along with papers from previous meetings here.

 

Quality and Safety Committee

The Quality and Safety Committee supports the CCG in delivering its aims of ensuring that the services commissioned on behalf of the CCG are of a high quality and safe.

Remuneration Committee

The Remuneration Committee makes decisions on determinations about the remuneration, fees and other allowances for employees and for people who provide services to the CCG.

Recovery Committee

The Recovery Committee has been established to drive forward delivery of the CCG’s Recovery Plan with rigour and pace.

Healthy Futures Joint Committee

The Healthy Futures Joint Committee has been established to strengthen collaborative commissioning arrangements across CCGs in West Yorkshire and Harrogate. The CCG has delegated authority to the Committee to make decisions on its behalf.
