NHS Greater Huddersfield Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), the organisation that plans and buys health services for people in Huddersfield and the Valleys, has published its annual report and accounts for 2017/18 ahead of its Annual General Meeting on Wednesday 11 July, 9.30am to 10.15am at the Briar Court Hotel in Huddersfield.

The annual report sets out the CCG’s challenges and priorities. It details the engagement and partnership work that has taken place, and it reviews the organisation’s activities and performance over the past year. The annual report also includes an operating and financial review of 2017/18 when the CCG’s focus was as always, to get value for money for the healthcare services it buys.

Dr Steve Ollerton, local GP and Chair of NHS Greater Huddersfield CCG said:
“The CCG’s annual report reflects on the progress we’ve made during the last financial year and it highlights some of our main successes and achievements. The report is a good way for people to see what the CCG does on their behalf so I would encourage them to have a read. It may stimulate some questions which people could feed into us.”

The annual report aims to provide a balanced and comprehensive analysis the CCG’s business development and performance throughout the year, and its position at the end of the financial year. It is available to view here.
