NHS Greater Huddersfield Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), the organisation that plans and buys health services for people in Huddersfield and the Valleys, has published its annual report and accounts for 2018/19 ahead of its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Wednesday 11 September, 9.30am to 10.30am at the Textile Centre of Excellence, Textile House, Red Doles Lane, Huddersfield, HD2 1YF. The AGM will be followed by the Governing Body Meeting, held in common with NHS North Kirklees CCG.
The annual report sets out the CCG’s challenges and priorities. It details the engagement and partnership work that has taken place, and it reviews the organisation’s activities and performance over the past year. The annual report also includes an operating and financial review of 2018/19 when the CCG’s focus was, as always, to get value for money for the healthcare services it buys.
Dr Steve Ollerton, local GP and Chair of NHS Greater Huddersfield CCG, said:
“The CCG’s annual report reflects on the progress we’ve made during the last financial year and it highlights some of our main successes and achievements. The report is a good way for people to see what the CCG does on their behalf so I would encourage them to have a read. It may stimulate some questions which people could feed into us.”
The annual report aims to provide a balanced and comprehensive analysis of the CCG’s business development and performance throughout the year, and its position at the end of the financial year. It is available to view on the CCG’s website at: https://www.greaterhuddersfieldccg.nhs.uk/key-publications/key-documents/annual-reports/
There will be an opportunity at the meeting for the public to ask a question. If you wish to submit your question in advance of the meeting, please email GH-NKCorporate.firstname.lastname@example.org
