At a meeting held today (Wednesday 11 October 2017), NHS Greater Huddersfield CCG Governing Body agreed to indicate to NHS England that it is supportive of Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust’s Full Business Case in relation to changes to local hospital services.

Following consideration on the basis of evidence and judgement and the significant contribution to improved clinical care and improved outcomes for our population, the CCG considers that the Full Business Case is in line with the model on which we consulted.

Following consideration on the basis of evidence and judgement, the significant contribution to improved clinical care, improved outcomes for our population, and on the basis of the joint system working outlined in the paper presented at the meeting, the CCG considers that the Full Business Case is affordable and that it does improve and achieve the financial sustainability of the Calderdale and Greater Huddersfield system of care.
